2008 Winter/Spring training program information posted
We have some interesting new workshops, as well as some returning favourites. Registration is likely to be brisk, so register early to make sure you get a spot!
- Introduction to the 2020 Project CHF Canada has launched an exciting new program. 2020 refers to the year that the majority of federally-funded co-ops will end their operating agreements. What happens next? Will co-ops be able to continue to provide assistance to members who need it?
- The Board’s Role in Dealing with Conflict Do member conflicts take up too much of the board’s time? This workshop, presented by St. Stephen’s Conflict Resolution Service, will help you to sort through a process for dealing with conflicts. A portion of the workshop will be spent on conflict resolution skills.
- Introduction to Investing The Social Housing Services Corporation is presenting this workshop to make it easier for boards and finance committees to make the important investment decisions they are faced with.
Of course, we are also offering some of our most popular standard
workshops. Register now to attend workshops on good governance,
filling units, understanding finances and being a good employer.
