Other Scholarship and Bursary Information

The Dr. Albert Rose Bursary Program

was established in 1984 by the Ontario Mortgage and Housing Corporation to help social housing tenants with the costs of a postsecondary education. The program is named in honour of the late Dr. Albert Rose who dedicated his life’s work to education and social housing.

The Women’s Musical Club of Toronto
supports exceptional young Canadians musicians through substantial career development awards, scholarships and performance opportunities. Annual scholarships offered at the Faculty of Music (University of Toronto) and The Conservatory of Music.

Canadian Co-operative Association
offers three awards

  • The Alexander Fraser Laidlaw Fellowship
  • Amy & Tim Dauphinee Scholarship
  • Lemaire Co-operative Studies Award

Royal Bank of Canada
offers a number of scholarships including

  • RBC (Financial Lifeskills Scholarships) are designed for students in any stream pursing studies in any field.
  • RBC (Medical and Dental Student Scholarship)t o students entering first year of study in a recognized medical or dental program in the upcoming academic year

TDCanada Trust Bank
TD Canada Trust Scholarships for Community Leadership rewards students who have shown leadership in the areas of local employment programs, environmental cleanup, support group creation, and family service initiatives.
Each scholarship is valued up to $60,000, $10, 000 per year and it also guarantees summer employment at TDCanada Trust

Canadian Hospitality Foundation
Offers scholarships to students in post secondary education in hotel management and food and beverage management.

Global Television Network
The Global Television Network “Broadcaster of the Future Awards” are series of scholarships, internship and mentorship programs designed to encourage talented and enthusiastic Canadians towards establishing or furthering a career in the Canadian broadcasting industry.

  • Global Television Scholarship award for a Canadian of a visible minority valued at $4,500.
  • Global Television Scholarship – Internship award for a Canadian with a physical disability valued at $15,000

 

The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC)
THE COC provides direct financial assistance for athletes and their coaches who work together to reach Olympic goals. The COC takes this responsibility very seriously. The COC and its partners strive to provide as much financial assistance as possible to athletes and coaches through scholarships and grant programs. COC funding initiatives include:
